Delivery reservations

To regular patients of our hospital

We will make a reservation at around 9 to 10 weeks into pregnancy when the expected delivery date is determined.

To those who wish to return to our hospital for delivery

Handling of temporary reservations of returning deliveries due to new coronavirus pandemic
  • Normally, you should have a medical examination prior to 22 weeks of pregnancy, but in order to prevent the spread of new coronavirus infections, this examination is not mandatory. We are making provisional reservations over the phone.
  • When contacting us by phone, please provide the following to the contact information below: (1) name, (2) date of birth, (3) delivery reservation date, (4) address, (5) telephone number, and (6) registration ticket number for our hospital (if you have one).
Please call the hospital switchboard at 0853-22-5111 between 16:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays) and speak to the Health Guidance Office. An obstetrics and gynecology department outpatient midwife will speak to you before consulting with a doctor to determine if returning for delivery is possible.
  • Those who have made a delivery reservation will be required to undergo maternity checkups at our hospital from the 34th week.
  • If you are returning home from an area you are not allowed in-person visits, you will have to wait at home for two weeks. If there are no abnormalities after two weeks, please come to the hospital on the consultation day as reserved. In such cases, please be sure to have a prenatal examination by your previous doctor just before returning to ensure that the interval between examinations is not too long.
  • Please note that we will be unable to accept examinations after 35 weeks for reasons of maternal management.
  • If you have a multiple pregnancy, please contact us by phone as early as possible.
  • We do not accept online delivery reservations or family consultations.
  • If you are instructed to rest due to morning sickness or the threat of miscarriage, please consult your doctor regarding your means of transportation and when to return home.
  • Please bring a letter of introduction whenever possible. Examinations without a referral letter are possible, but an additional fee of 5,000 yen (tax-exempt) will be charged at the initial examination of a non-referral patient.
  • Please bring your referral letter, health insurance card, and registration ticket for our hospital (if any) with you at the initial examination.
  • Although the initial examination is not a maternity checkup, please bring your Mother and Child Handbook.
  • After making a reservation in the first trimester you do not need to have further examinations, but please receive prenatal examinations at our hospital from the 34th week at the latest.
  • Prenatal health check-up cards cannot be used unless your municipality of residence is registered with our hospital. Please check with your local municipal office before your return at 34 weeks.
  • The initial examination is not by appointment. Please come to reception from 8:30 to 11:00 on a weekday (excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.)
