Request on the occasion of the hospitalization

As a general rule, those who are deemed to require hospitalization treatment do so by reservation, but because we have an advanced emergency and critical care center, please understand that there may be cases where you unfortunately cannot be hospitalized due to there being no vacancy on the day of reservation.

In order to provide medical treatment centered around patients in the region, for daily health management, treatment of minor illnesses, and when conditions are stabilized, a "family physician (clinic, etc.)" will provide treatment, while role-sharing and cooperation with for specialized examinations and advanced treatment provided by institutions like our hospital are vital.
When our prospect of termination of treatment in acute phase comes up at our hospital, we will prepare and provide support for secure at-home treatment in cooperation with local "family physicians" and at-home care providers.
When the treatment/care is to continue after discharge, patients may be transferred to other local medical institutions such as at a rehabilitation at another hospital's "convalescence and rehabilitation bed" or recuperation at a "recuperation hospital", or moved to rehabilitation at a "rehabilitation facility for the elderly" to prepare to return home, as necessary.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation of the role of our hospital as an acute phase hospital.

At this hospital, we engage in the training of post-graduate clinical research of physicians based on post-graduate clinical research programs as a "designated clinical research hospital" of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, as well as practical training for medical students and nursing students as an "educational affiliated hospital". Clinical research and training are conducted under the leadership of a seasoned instructor and pose no clinical issues, so we ask for the understanding and cooperation of our hospitalized patients.
Furthermore, early-stage clinical research interns are identified as such on their name tags, and recently graduated nurses have colored tape on their name tags.

At this hospital, please understand that there is no need for your concern. The recovery of all hospitalized patients is the greatest joy of our staff, and we consider that to be the only thing you should concern yourself with.

Your daily life in the hospital may be somewhat limited, all of these limitations are in order for all patients to recover as quickly as possible, so we as for your understanding.
Furthermore, for a safe and secure stay during treatment, we ask that you wash your hands and go by your own name.

We also ask that all hospitalized patients protect each other's privacy and also refrain from political and religious activities in the hospital as well as offering/soliciting goods and other business activities.

Our hospital is a designated facility for conducting absentee ballots for public office elections.

We ask that patients not come to the hospital in private vehicles. When it is unavoidable that you park a vehicle, please consult with reception at the time of the hospitalization.

During hospitalization, changes to your living environment, physical weakness cause by illness, and unforeseen falling or falling out of bed may lead to serious injuries (broken bones, bleeding, etc.).
In order for you to lead a safe life in the hospital, we wish to work to prevent falls together with the patients and their families and ask for your cooperation in this.
